How to best pass on the Expected Events of an Event Handler on to another Event Handler?

Hi Event managers,

The case is the following, i have a Sales Order created which subsequently triggers the creation another Sales Order. What i am trying to do is to pass one of the expected events from the first Sales Order to its child Sales Order.

Theoretical solution would be to create an event type where the tracking header is appended with the tracking ID of the child Sales Order and the expected event from the original Sales Order

to the modify table and make sure that in the rule activity the method

ACT_EE_MODIFY is called.

But i can't get it to work... The question therefore, is my theoretical solution a sane one or is there a better way?

Thank you in advance! Rob

Hi Rob,

how does this happen in the system?

Are you in the same LUW when creating the child Sales Orders?

Best regards,

Steffen
