Dear Experts
A source char type NUMC of length 8 is mapped to a target char type CHAR of length 10. There is NO Alpha routine defined for the target Info-Object and hence the records coming to target are basically useless. esp. for reading texts. The target char is used in a dozen odd cubes and DSOs and transformations of all kinds that i do not want to disturb now (its production system). I can afford to change a single transformation only for the purposes of loading texts against the right target values.
How can I pad leading zeros in the target such that target is 10 long. with needed leading zeros ? ONLY by using BW transformation formulas
e.g.
If Source = 00001234. Target should be 0000001234
If Source = 00000099. Target should be 0000000099
If Source = 12345678 - Target should be 0012345678
Thanks
Amit
