Hi All,
I have a DMR (for Inwards -01type) of 4 Stages. 3 are of Skip status. Fourth one is Inspection stage.
I have made the following rules for Stage Change,
For 1st Stage - Inital Stage and Skip
OK--
No of Skips------1
New Stage-------2
NOT OK---
Rej No------1
New Stage---4
In the same way, i have made the rules for other stage changes. What happens is, Lot is got generated @ GR, with 1st Stage..i.e) SKIP.
If I reject the lot by giving REJECTED at UD, by rule it should move to Fourth Inspection stage.
But it actually moves to second stage for the next Lot. Same thing happens with all the other stages.
My doubt is Stage change occurs w.r.t NO OF SKIPS and not on the UD given.
Note: I have selected DMR - for Usage Decision
In QP01 - DMR at Lot level
DMR and Sampling procedure rule assigned in QDB1
All MICs' are Optional Characteristics
Please guide me.
Thnx in advance
Sam
Hi
Check following possibilitis:
1. MIC has characteristic weightage, for which 'SKIPS NOT ALLOWED' is assigned. (e.g. For '01 Critical Characteristic' in config, skips are not allowd is checked)
2. In Material master 'SKIPS ALLOWED' is checked for inspection type 01.
Still problem persist, then as suggested by Creig, post the data in tabular form.

Hi,
As you asked please find the details below in Table format,
Stage Insp.Sev Skip InStg No of Skips Next Rejected Next
1 X X 1 2 1 4
2 X 1 3 1 4
3 X 1 4 1 4
4 4 1 1 4
For fourth Stage, I have given No of Inspections as - 1.
This I have made for the following scenario. While Inward, First three lots are Skipped. Every Fourth Lot is inspected. In case of any rejection in between, then they have to inspect the next Lot.
As I mentioned, Lot acquired SKIP status according to no of skips. But, according to UD, if lot is rejected then next stage should be 4. But it is not changing. Instead it works according to NO OF SKIPS. (i.e 1,2,3 and then 4)
Note: I am not assigning any WEIGHTAGE in QS21 level.
Please guide.
Thnx in advance
Sam
Hard to say without seeing the whole set up. Can you post the data in table format just like it is in the DMR?
