Missing CmcApp and InfoViewApp folders in 3.0

After the installation of 3.0 I am missing the CmcApp and InfoViewApp folders in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\work\Catalina\localhost. Needless to say that i can not login to CMC and InfoView.

The exact same thing happened on two servers; one was an upgrade and the other was a fresh install.

Does anyone has any idea how to resolve this? It seems to me that the .war files did not get properly deployed. I searched KB but did not find anything for redeploying .war files for 3.0. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

If you already deployed the war files, if you log into tomcat manager, you should see the list of applications and see if they are up and running?

Did you try reinstalling the web tier, from Add/Remove Programs?

Also, did you find a KB article on redeploying WAR files in XI 3.0?

I did try the uninstall and reinstall option, but no luck. I did not find a KB article on redeploying .war files for 3.0 though.

My last resort is asking for a clean OS install and installing Business Objects on it....

Got it guys.

Here is the procedure, incase if some one needs it in future:

Copy all the WAR files from:

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\java\applications

To :

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps

Get rid of or rename (recommended) any sub folders that may already exist in the above location.
