Experts,
I was confused btw strategy 10 and 11 and after different test cases, I understood that it is more than just consideration of avail stock.
Stratergy 11 reduces PIR as soon as GR is posted for process order.
REQUIREMENT:
System should consider available stock(stratergy10) and PIR should be reduced on GR of order(like 11).
Can this be achieved by making a custom stratergy?
Am i missing something here as this requirement is not provided by SAP in stnd, any reasons for this?
Hello All,
Any suggestions?

Hi Kaushik,
Yes I tried that earlier and ran few tests but it behaves like strategy 10 only.
@ Caetano : If one were to custom this requirement, what would you suggest one should move forward with?

Hello
As far as I know, this is not possible in the standard.
Planning strategies were created with very specific customizing settings, which will only allow minor changes.
Mixing up two different planning strategies is usually not possible, since the planning strategy logic is hardcoded in the programs.

Hi Akash,
Have you tried the scenario maintaining strategy group with primary strategy 10 and secondary strategy 11.
Thanks and regards,

Hello All,
Any comments on this?
Can this be achieved in any way by using Mixed MRP indicator? by maintaining strategy as 10 and mixed MRP as "Gross req."
