The planning horizon is the period that is set for the "net change planning in the planning horizon."
For this type of net change planning, only materials that change relevant to MRP in the period are planned in the planning run.
The planning file contains a list of all materials for which a change relevant to requirements planning has occurred and that are automatically flagged for the next planning run.
