How to add filters in excel header while exporting from "Crystal Report XI" ?

Hi Team,

My client is expecting the crystal report output similar to the attached format.Is it possible to add filter functionalities in excel output from crystal report?

When I export the excel from crystal report, the header should have filter in it.

So i need your help on this. Thanks in Advance!

At least one of the 3rd-party tools listed in the link provided by Dell allows you to automate the process of exporting a Crystal report to excel and adding header filters.
It also allows you to inject the excel export into pre-formatted excel file acting as a template. That can provide the desired effects of colors, lines, conditional formats, sparklines, etc.

No, it's not possible to include the filter in an Excel export straight from Crystal. It's also not possible to export lines unless you put borders around the fields and export with formatting (.xls export only) and you have to tweak that for the borders between objects so that only one of the two objects has a border between them.'

I don't know whether there is a third-party tool you can run the report through that will get you the filter, but a good place to look for one is at http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html.
