Inconsistent VBAP and VBEP tables- Sales Order Error

Hi All,

I am getting an error message for 1 sales order.

What I have discovered is that table vbep (sch. line)

and table vbap (itm data) are inconsistent.

The order according to vbep has 41 line items,

but according to vbap the order only has39 line itemw.

How can this be fixed? I get the message

**"Item does not match schedule line (program error)"

when I try to process this order and the program exits.

How can open the sales order again using va02/va03.

Any suggestions would be great!

We had a similar issue and SAP didn't issue a note, but they have provided a one-time report to fix the issue. We had to use it a couple more times though, but were never able to determine what has caused this problem.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to that report right now, but I'm sure if you contact SAP they'll be able to help.

Here is a fragment from the reply that we've received:

Unfortunately, there is no current known cause for the incorrect
updates. In most cases, it is not reproducable, and when it is, the
issue arose due to userexits. I understand that this does not help
much, but unless I can see why the incorrect update ocurred, the only
only way to fix problem, is to clean the tables.

Hi,

Can you check your line items, how many items have schedule line split.You can check it in the line item it self there is check box.Let me know so that we can arrive work around.

There is only one line item which has schedule line split.

and this is the line item which is missing in VBAP table.

The line item which has split in schedule line table is missing in

Item table.

Could you please help me now?
