HI all ,

We would like to assign container #'s when we batch split components from one container to another.

Example:
part # 2-28-1697, 1000 pcs, batch # 0000188777.
Take 200 pcs and put into 2 other containers. These become batch # 0000188777 container 2 of 100 pcs and batch # 0000188777 container 3 of 100 pcs. The original container is now batch # 0000188777 container 1 of 800 pcs.

Can any one please help how to achive this.

Thanks and regards,

Ravi Verma

Where would you enter the container number if you would not have this split?

Are you doing Handling Unit Management?

In Inventory management is no level below the batch, so you will only get 1 total quantity in MMBE for the combination of Material number, plant, storage location and batch
