Posting Period accidentally delete

Former Member

Dear All,

I have 12 monthly posting periods starting from 1 Apr 18 to 31 Mar 19. But one of my staff accidentally delete periods May to Mar. April already have transaction so we can't delete and recreate period. Can we restore the deleting period from old backup, or manually insert. Because SAP didn't give option to append period.

Please advice.

Regards

Hello - would you post some screen shots? Which transaction are you using? OB52?

Dear Ms. Tammy Powlas

This is the Period I Create First (from My Old Backup, before year end).

Now Only this one Left, the other's are Deleted. If we Create from "New Period" procedure, we can't create with old code (because I want to append my Period, to recover my deleted period), but it only accept new code, which will effect on our financial year. And I can't also delete this "April Period", it show error like this.

I hope there's another way other than restore old backup, and entering our operation transactions.

Regards

Nyein Ko lat.

I guess your tag is wrong, can it be that you are in a Business One system?

I found 3 question in the community with this error number 173-44 and all were posted under the tag SAP Business One.

If that is right then please change the tag by clicking the Actions link in your question , then Edit, and then change the tag.

I think Juergen is right; if this is Business One I cannot help. I am not using that system. I am sorry I can't help.

Hi,

Best option is restore from old backup and create new posting period and then new transactions. No other to correct for deleted posting period.
