How do I UN-install Crystal Developer Edition Service Pack?

I have Visual Studio 2013 and Visual Studio 2017. I installed the Crystal Reports developer version for Visual Studio 2017. This version reports as 13.0.3500.0 and it does NOT work.

Thus, I need to revert back to the previous version, which is 13.0.2000.0. How do I do that?

Help!

Yes, I read it :) When I installed SP 22, errors were thrown. So I'm trying to get back to where I started.

I downloaded 20 again, installed it, tried to establish a reference to CrystalDecisions.Web and it *still* reports the version as 13.0.3500.0 afterwards.

And note: I established the reference via the GAC/MSIL. It reported the DLL as 13.02 when I check its properties. But after I establish the reference, it says this in the path with the Properties window of VS 2013: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\dotnet\CrystalDecisions.Web.dll"

And as mentioned, the version is still reported as 13.0.3500.0, which isn't correct.

Thoughts?

Did you read all of the info on the download WIKI for SP 21?

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Crystal+Reports%2C+Developer+for+Visual+Studio+Downloads

SP 22 is the only version that will work with VS 2017.

If you don't want to use VS 2017 then simply change the URL to download from 22 to 20 and use it in VS 2013.

What is the error you are getting when updating to SP 22?

So the reason why is the uninstaller never removes the assemblies from the GAC, msiexec thing...

I suggest using the 3500 assemblies, remove all of them from the References list and then add them back in from the .NET tab.

Change your Platform to use 4.6 or above Framework and recompile.

VS will automatically use the most recent version, check the app.config file and change the version manually. VS doesn't always update them.

Don,

Upgrading to 4.6 or 4.7 is unfortunately not an option at this time.

What I need to do is completely uninstall Crystal Reports, the runtime engine, and all developer editions and start from the beginning.

1. How do I do that?

2. Where can I download a copy of Crystal Reports 2011?

Thanks for your help!

"CR 2011 is no longer available for download". I just went to SapStore.com, added Crystal Reports 2011 to my cart, and was allowed to proceed into the checkout process. Why is the software available for purchase, but not download?

I am, frankly, stunned that I cannot download a product that my company owner purchased from you several years ago. We don't care about "support" - we just want to reinstall the software!!!

Oh, and the link to websmpl30.sag-ag.de doesn't work.... security error.

Thanks,
Bryan

CR for VS can work with 3.5 framework and above.

Only real way is to FDISK and reinstall the OS. MSIExec never could reliably uninstall everything.

Change the version in the app.config, change the 13.0.3500.0 to 13.0.2000.0 and it should load those versions.111111111

CR 2011 is no longer available for download.

You can however get the incremental updates from here:

https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/patch_download/main_public.htm

You will need your keycode, we can't give you a new one.

Contact Sales then:

https://www.sap.com/products/crystal-reports.html

On the right side is a chat button, see if they can get you a link to download it.

SAP encodes URL's so I'm trying to find one without my info in it.

Try this one:
