SAP GUI for window vista home premium

Dear Expert,

My new notebook is on Windows Vista Home Premium. When I installed SAP GUI 6.40, it crash my notebook witk blue screen dump. After I unistalled that GUI, my windows working fine.

From the SAP notes, SAP GUI 7.10 is only support for Vista Business, Ultimate & Enterprise.

How about vista home premium, any pacthes on it?

Hi,

SAPGUI 7.10 is only supported on Vista Business, Ultimate and Enterprise (see note 66971).

It might be OK on the "home" versions, but these were never tested.

I also have trouble with Vista. I am trying to build a list view in SQVI and when I click to go to the graphical interface to select and add my tables to the join it hangs and hangs. It never fires up the graphical. Have any of you heard of a patch to fix this?

Hi,

You can install SAP GUI 7.10 on Vista as it supports only this version.

SAP GUI 710 for Windows provides support for the most common Microsoft Windows platforms:

Windows 2000

Windows XP

Windows 2003 Server

Windows Vista

Which note by the way says only support for Vista Business, Ultimate & Enterprise.

I think you can install 710, remember 640 gui is not supported on vista.
