Dear Guru,
In asset master record, can we specify value 0 year 0 per for useful life? If yes, how can I set it to allow 0 value.

even if it is possible ... what is the business context of such an asset? Where would such an asset make sense?

This you can set up in AO21 make the field Orig.useful life optional.
This you assign in the the settings where you assign the depreciation area's to the asset classes
