New User getting error " New password does't match the confirm password" in BODS console


I created a new user and selected " user must change password at next logon" option in BODS CMC.

When I try to log in to the data services management Console I get the below error:

" New password doesn't Match the confirm password"

I enter the original password then my new password, then without an error message, it takes me back to DS console home page.

Please find the attached error screenshots

BODS 4.2 SP10

Can you please help/advise.

    Hi Amar,

    I think there is a workaround for this issue. First try the password reset by using the Central Management Console(CMC) page. Then try logging the Data Services Management Console using the New Password.

    I think the issues is with the current version and this is tracked in Corrective Measure 22091 2017. Please go through the Support Notes KBA - 2475373.

      Thanks for the reply. I saw that KBA already, but the issue still appears in BODS 4.2 SP10.

      I tried to change a password in CMC and later I am trying to login into DS console, but no use.

    It could be the note that Akhilesh provided, but since you are on DS 4.2 SP10 that should be resolved in your version.

    I just want to be sure you are filling in all three fields for this password change. If your old password was "password" and the new password is going to be "password2":

    Old Password: password

    New Password: password2

    Confirm Password: password2
