Include new fields in standard search help with exit

HI !

I am trying to include a new field in the standard search help debix but somehow I am not able to get it in the selection scrieteria for the search help . Presently debix has 10 fields for selection I want to include a new field 'location ' into it. This search help uses an exit F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_CUSTOMER. I tried looking into it but couldnt locate the selection screen for teh same wheer I could include the new field. Can anyone let know if I can do this , and if yes where do I if d teh selection screen where I can make the changes to insert the filed and if any other changes needs to be doen to accomplish this .

Is it possible to include the field i teh seelction screen and get the values? I am not preety sure how to go about , as I am not able to locate the scelection screen for the same in DEBIX, please if someone knows please let me know .

HI!

I copied the function group VS04 corresponding to debix search help and created my own function group , I am able to get the selection screen now , but teh search help still dosent seem to work properly . It says some kind of problem in the fucntion group ADDR_search_v2 which si not compatiable with the size of the field. I cannot change the satandard function module so I copied this into a z.. function module but still it dosent give me result, can anyone please help me create this new search help which will be like debix witha ddition of fields street 4 and street 5, pleaseee.

Were you able to achieve this? I have a similar requirement for adding NAME3/NAME4 to debix.

Hi Aarav,

I have exactly the same requirement of adding Street 2, 3 and 4 in DEBIX. Did you find any solution?

I think it is not possible to extend DEBIX and the only solution is to create a new Search Help.
