Complete delivery, drop shipment and webshop sales orders

Hi,

our sales orders are created via the standard ByD webservice.

The items in the sales orders are drop shipments and warehouse deliveries mixed.

All our warehouse deliveries need to be marked as "complete delivery" as we do not want to deliver twice due to the freight costs.

Therefore we checked this in the account settings/sales data.

Unfortunately ByD currently cannot determine the source of deilvery, when the "complete delivery" checkbox is checked.

Therefore in any case we need to manually maintain the sales orders - either uncheck the checkbox - when it is initially set- or check it - when it is initially unchecked.

This really doesn't make sense to me. However - is there any solution to work around this systems behavior?

Kind Regards,

Klaus

Hello Klaus

This is system's expected behavior once 'Complete Delivery' checkbox is checked.

The Complete Delivery indicator selected in the sales order, this means when you are requesting to deliver all items together with same requested dates for all items. Then they are assigned to same delivery group and this information is sent to supply chain management to perform the ATP check accordingly.

Here user has added Ship from as Internal as well as External sources of supply which is not allowed with Complete Delivery indicator set.

If you want to have source of supply determined, please uncheck 'Complete delivery 'per scenario.

Cheers,

Carol
