Bank account number

Hello,

I am creating some own banks for Belgium and I have the bank account with 14 positions (12 numbers with hyphens in 4th and 12th place).

But the system ask me for a 3 number bank key.

What´s that? Could I introduce whatever I want?

In Belgium the bank key is the same as the 3 first digits of the bank account number. So your customizing seems right. What are you using as bank key ?

So, if in Belgium the bank key is the same as the 3 first digits of the bank account number when I create a new bank then the branch will be defined by the bank country and the bank key, is it correct?

Check at TCode OY17 the below fields

Bank Account Number

Bank Number length

Bank Key

If it is still unresolved let us know the error message No.
