Hi everyone,
I am forcing a problem when I try to deploy a rule service in SAP Cloud Platform Business Rules (Trial Account). When I deploy a service I choose "CLOUD" as system and after that I get the error message "An unknown error has occurred. Contact technical support". I am assigned as super user and already created some decision table and data objects without problems.
Do someone have an idea what it could be?
Kind regards
Jens
Hello vikrant.patil, dj.adams.sap,
I just tried it again and it's working fine. I changed some days ago in a customer presentation the decision table to show how a decision table can be created. Just today I deployed the rule service successfully. Maybe it is because of changing the decision table.
Thanks for your response.
Kind regards
Jens

Hi Jens,
Can you share screen shot of decision table. I suspect an invalid expression which passed through validation and activation in the decision table and resulted in deployment failure.

Vikrant

Thanks. Unfortunately not much to go on. Was there any further info from/in the 400 response? Has it worked in the meantime, or is it still giving the same error today?

Hello dj.adams
there is an error message which tells me not really much. But maybe you know what that means.
In the console is written:
jquery-dbg.js:9203 POST https://bpmruleseditor-p1942591919trial.dispatcher.hanatrial.ondemand.com/ruleservice-runtime/rules-... 400 (Bad Request)
Here are details: business-rule-editor-error-console.txt
Additional I attached a screenshot of Network Console. business-rule-editor-error-network.png
Regards
Jens

Given the message, it could be many things 🙂 Can you open Chrome developer tools (assuming you're running in Chrome, if not, I'd recommend it) and look in both the Network and Console panels for any erroneous network requests or error messages and let us know? Thanks.
