EMIGALL (PARTNER) : Update additional fields in KNA1

Hi Every one,

I am creating Business partner through EMIGALL. I am able to create SD customer using customer reference key in KNA1 table. But I am not able to add additional data using KNA1 strcuture in Business Partner.

Could you please any one suggest how to update additional fields while creating SD customer through. reference key in Business Partner.

Hi Suneel,

Are you using the reference customer in EMIGALL field MUSTER_KUN (template customer) in the INIT structure?

If yes, then as per my knowledge, there is no way to use a template and to change the SD customer additional data at the same way during data migration; no merge of data fields takes place.

I would recommend you to use the PARTNERCHA migration object to change attributes to other values than the value provided by the template.

Thank you.I am using reference customer in EMIGALL field MUSTER_KUN(tempalte customer) in the INIT Structure.

I tried with second approach PARTNERCHA migration object to update the above fields. But it is updating only the reference customer data which is already created through PARTNER. Please let me know if I missed any thing to update additional fields using PARTNERCHA Migration Object.

Suneel:

There is no mechanism for updating kna1 data via emigall. The only expectation is to facilitate the copying of the reference data via muster_kun. If you wish to make other updates to kna1, then you would have to do it with lsmw or other mass program outside of emigall.

Thanks William for your quick reply. In my scenario I would like to update two more addition fields in KNA1 including reference data while creating Business Partner. I generated those two fields in KNA1 structure in PARTNER Migration Object. But It is updated only reference data from Business Partner to SD Customer.

Could you please suggest any alternative to update the above mentioned fields in Reference Customer?

that is the correct behavior - KNA1 is only updated with reference data. what do you expect to update in KNA1?
