Different SAPgui colors for different SAP systems having same SID

Hi,

We have a requirement to display different screen colors for different SAP systems ( having same SID i.e. PP1 ). So the users can distinguish the systems very easily during the navigation so that there will not be any mistakes done during the data update etc.

Does anybody know how to do this either on SAP gui setup side or on the server side centrally.

Thanks & regards

Abhay

Hello Abhay,

these settings are stored in the windows registry in HKCU\Software\SAP\General\Appearance

Maybe this helps you?

What means, the same SID? In landscape you can't use 2 systems with same SID...

the color settings is GUI (not server) , you can set some color --> (ALT+F12) Customize local layout --> Set color to system , also try to read -->

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. But here we want to roll it out to all our users at different locations. So we want a solution to change this background colors on server side instead of doing it on each front-end GUI. So is there any method to change the color of the screen from server side.

Thanks & regards

It's GUI settings, try to read link, you need to change it on all PC's using some logon script, or *.bat or 3-rd Tools.

Regards.
