HCM process and forms

Hi All,

I am having tough time in setting up HCM process and forms.

Need your expertise....pls share your experiences....

Initially we had an struggle in importing the Enh Pack 2 and then...doing up the following activities for Ehp 2 and ADS setup. Till here, we were hardly successfull.

Then, we were about to process in creating the Z-process/form sceanario as per our customer requirements.

And realized there are standard processes delivered with SAP which we can make use of. Henceforth, we have followed the

sap online documentation.

But the information provided here was not that much suffice. Luckily, got through the blog written by Chris solomon. In that, Chris has mentioned in order to use standard deliverd processes, we need to do the Perform Client Copy According to Piece List, perform Case management, process object in spro nodes.

We have performed the Client copy node in spro. But, still we are not able to see the Start processes in HR Administrators and in MSS as well. It displays blank pages and dump.

Kindly pls assist. Awaiting for your valuable inputs.

Hi Anil,

1) Check if the ASR Self-Services applications are deployed on ur Java server. This is required for Start Process iView under MSS role. Note that the correct iView to be used is portal_content/com.sap.pct/line_manager/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hcm/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.eeselection

and not the one below -

portal_content/com.sap.pct/line_manager/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.hcm/com.sap.pct.erp.mss.pcrasr

(Refer Note 1048386 for details)

2) Also check if the asr_* services are active in SICF transaction. If not then activate them. This will bring up the WDA Start Process iView under HR Administrator Role.

I didn't understand your problem clearly.

As per my understanding i just came to conculsion and asking these question.

I belive you are getting the problem when you trying to process the forms such FORM 3,6,12,27 etc. when you try to print them you might have get problem ADS .... somthing not supported or installed some message will come.

If is so please give mailID me or give the phonenumber i will solve the problem

It is not the problem with ADS, in deed it was the problem with config in using the standard processes delivered with SAP (like child of birth, termination etc.,)

When we are clicking on Start processes from MSS or HR Administrator Business package from Portal, we are getting the error message (dump in webdynpro ABAP)....which reveals that there is config mismatch or incomplete config in backend spro.

And some where in sdn there was a blog written by Chris. In that, he was saying to carry on some activities like (perform client copy, case management and process objects) in spro nodes in order to use the standard delivered sceanarios (birth of child, termination etc.,)

We have performed the client copy activity from spro node.

Still I am not able to identify other two settings in spro node - what needs to be done to complete those two settings.

If anyone have already implemented the standard delivered forms. Kindly let me know and pls share ur inputs.
