Upgrade Sybase Power Designer 12 to recent version

Hello,

We have an installation of the Sybase Power Designer 12 (Sybase PowerDesigner Studio Enterprise Licence; floating licence for 60 clients). We retrieved the licence from Sybase (before it was part of SAP) in 2006.

Now we would need to upgrade the version to the latest release, mainly because the university will rollout Windows 10 in summer.

Unfortunately, I am not able to download the latest version because I have no SAP account. I called SAP support, but they could not help us, because we do not have an SAP customer number and thus a SAP account could not be created.

I was asked to raise the question on this website again in order to get support ..

- How can I get an SAP account fpr my Power Designer Licences?

- Where can I download the newest version (for Power Designer and the licence server)?

If you have the error message:

“You do not have a maintenance contract for this installation. Please contact SAP Contracts to arrange for a maintenance contract”

You should go to the page: https://support.sap.com/contactus > go to section ‘Contractual Questions’ > click on “Submit your question” and complete the online form.
