Hi,

As we know there are two way of recording assets and capitalizing. We can create directly a regular asset and record the capitalization or we can first record asset under AUC and them covert a regular asset. Which method is most recommended?

Gayani

    Hi Gayani,

I would recommend capitalization method thru AuC, which will allow you to keep the asset in the AuC account. No depreciation is posted till it is moved to regular asset.

    Hi

To meet the requirments mentioned by you we have a specific process called AUC. It is always better to follow the SAP Standard process which was implemented after long and detailed observations. So you are corect to implement AUC and follow it.
