SAP IQ Infrastructure ? VMWARE, GPFS experience ?

We would like to refresh our multiplex IQ infrastructure. (IQ V16).

Two paths are studying : VMWare or GPFS.

Is there anybody who have put one of this solution in production ? It's not clear if SAP supports these solutions for a multiplex IQ environement

We have customers using multiplex on GPFS and VMware. the blogs below show the testing and versions we have done in the past and are applicable for the most current release of the software as well
