We have a report where we want to detect whether date fields for different rows overlap.
In this instance we have support periods and we want to know if one support period (with start and end dates) overlaps with another. There are multiple possibilities of overlaps and more than one record is likely to need to detect the same overlapping record so (previous record) detection in a sorted list won't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
I ended using Relative Value. Thanks anyway

As well as the date range values, do you also have a date field you could bring in?
Then you could do something with a distinct / non-distinct count on individual days.
