Hi everyone,
we have integrated Hybris Commerce (6.6) and Hybris Marketing (on-prem 1709) and beside the "saved shopping cart" (that works!) event we want to get the event "abandoned shopping cart" as an interaction into yMkt (SHOP_CART_ABANDONED).
The problem is that I don't know what I have to do to trigger that event.
- Adding and removing products to and from the shopping cart doesn't seem to be enough
- Adding a product to the cart and logging off or closing the website also doesn't work
I know the question sounds crazy but
"How do I correctly abandone a shopping cart in Hybris Commerce?"
Hope someone can help
Best regards
Tobias
Hi Tobias,
Just add the product to shopping cart and then instead of clicking "checkout" close the pop up. It should trigger shop cart abandoned event.
Thanks

Hey, it seems that there have to be two hours between adding the product to the cart and getting the event as an interaction in yMkt.
Thanks again Saurabh 🙂

Hello Tobias,
How the cart abandonment works if the consumer record doesn't exist in yMKT? There can be a scenario that the consumer record doesn't exist in hybris marketing and the consumer at ycommerce has done a cart abandonment event. How hybris marketing handles such a situation? I couldn't find any document on this scenario in JC8 documentation. Does yMKT will ignore that interaction?
Have you test this scenarios.
Hi mitmayank_bluleader,
I have just tried it in combination with the commerce B2B Accelerator. In this scenario no events from unknown contacts are tracked and sent to yMkt.
I don't know if it would work in B2C-scenario.
Best regards
Tobias
