TREX's each RFC server has to be installed on a seperate box?

We know that TREX can have several RFC servers. May I install them on the same box OR a dedicated box is needed for each RFC server?

Nope you do not need multiple RFC Servers, from the TREX admin tool you can use multiple RFC connectiosn for the different ABAP engines.
