transporting the translation of data element

Hi experts,

I have translated a data element of a structure in se11 via goto>translation, but the system didnt offer me any means of transportation when i clicked save.

How can i transport those translations?

Include the data element (R3TR DTEL DATAELEMNT) in your transport request

Are you talking about including data element via se09 to my transport request? Because if you are, I do not have authorization to do it.

Filter -> Object Type->DTEL

Object Processor->SAP User id.

Thanks, I just have one more question, can i include the data element in a specific transport request? can i just uncheck create a new transport request?

Hi Mikhail,

Normally, I just change the description of the data element in SE11 (ex: just add a dummy character) and save. It will ask for a transport request and then you put back the old description and activate it.

Then you'll have the data element and all respective translations stored in a transport request.
