Workflow tasks transport problem

Hello experts,

I'm trying to transport 5 workflow tasks and I can't get them into the test system. The workflow template and an agent rule were imported with no problems but not the TASKs ?!

All of the tasks are general task. I've tried more than once to import them but it didn't work. No error or warnings in the transport log and still, the objects don't exist in the test systems.

Regards

Johann

Hi,

Check if the package to which the task belongs to has a transport layer, also check if the task is using containerelements with references to temporary objects.

If you want to include them manually it is R3TR PDTS for tasks.

And lastly for transporting the agent assignment attributes you can user report RHMOVE30 to add them in a customizing transpor.

Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

Hi Rob,

and thx. I've checked the transport layer and that the tasks are all in the transport requests.

I think it's very strange that I can open the workflow template with the SWDD but when I try to open it with PFTC I get the message "object does not exist".

I've added the customizing with RHMOVE30 to a new transport request and will try again.

Johann,

Also check SU53 and HR authorizations, tasks are considered HR objects in SAP.

Check in table HRS1201 if you can find the tasks in the table.

Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

Hi,

Check if the below suggestion works,

It may be due to changed version of the workflow not generated properly in target system.

Run the Function Module SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 in the target system by giving the import parameter as Workflow Template number.

Anas

Hi,

I would suggest to please check if there are any modifications in SWU3 workflow customization in the system which you are trying to import. Make sure you referesh the buffer after the transport was successful. SWU_OBUF

Thanks,

Pavan

I found a part of the problem eventually. The transport user was missing HR (SU53 - in the bottom) authorisation/rights. I've opened a OSS.
