Views and queries

Hello All,

I have a Saved View which is based on a query. When I execute the query I can see the variable screen, but when I execute the view the Variable screen is not displayed.

How do I get back the Variable screen?

Hi,

Check whether your variable in mandatory or optional. If it is optional and ready for input, then change the variable as mandatory and try.

HI KK,

You are right, you will be getting Variable screen when you execute query. But, when you execute View you wouldn't be getting variable screen because It itself is made with certain conditions/selections of the table data.

It is just a view of the selection criteria you are using for creating the view.
