change in payroll date

Dear Team

At my clients place the payroll is run on the 2nd of every month before upgrade.

Now after they have moved to ECC6 they want to pay their employees on the last working day of the month.

Could any suggest what changes are required to be done for it come in effect.

Hi Iyer,

Re generate the payroll periods from the effective date. don't generate for previous payroll periods which was already processed.

When you regenerate the payroll period

Use the payday rule: 3

number of days: 0

Determain period number: 2

hi i think u'll have to create new payroll period.

go to payroll india-basic settings-payroll organization-generate payroll periods-

select 4th payday rule 'the No of days is used as a payment day'.
