fm "XXL_FULL_API"

i am using 'XXL_FULL_API' to download data from alv report to excel file.now client requirement : Change download method so that excel button when clicked will save the excel file to the useru2019s computer instead of opening a new window. File location can be changed by user before saving. Current pop-up message giving options for output (such as pivot table) will be removed. Pop-up with green check mark will be removed. File location will be the C drive. Default file name will be reportname_currentdate.

please get me the solution.someone told me to implement new ole fm,should i? if its so,then how to do it?

    Hi Eric,

    I am also working on the similar type of requirement,if you have solved this could you please let me know how you have done this?

    My requirement is I could upload the data using the XXL_FULL_API function module but I need the header and footer details also to be present in the XL file.

    COuld you please suggest me if u have any solution ofr the header and footer details to include in the XL file using the above FM?
