How do testers and devlopers access Service Desk messages

Hello,

How does the Tester access the Service Desk message? Can it come into his work box? Can it be linked to the Test Workbench?

How does the developer access the service desk message? Is there a inbox for him? Can we easily send him an email with the details?

    Usually they don't 😊

    However, if you want them to I would add those Partner Functions to the SLFN transaction type. They would access the messages just like the message processor does. Then you just need to build a security role to limit what you want them to do.

    Hi Avrohom,

    Following is the way I have used in projects I have worked on, of course, without any email/ workflow element set up.

    (1) Testers: Create a role that allows them access to SOLAR01/02, STWB_2, STWB_WORK and CRM_DNO_MONITOR, SOLAR_EVAL and base transactions like SU53, SU03 etc. with as much authorisation in all of them as deemed necessary. They would typically access the messages they created in Tests from within the Test Workbench itself or from Info System like STWB_INFO.

    (2) Developers: Create a role that allows for CRM_DNO_MONITOR, SOLAR_EVAL, STWB_INFO - their primary job will be view messages 'assigned' to them, from CRM_DNO_MONITOR, pursue them and close. If they are also people who have to upload/change documents in SOLAR02, you can grant access to that. If not, leave it simple
