Message Handling with several UIBBs

Hello.

Our application consists of several GUIBBs in an OIF. In all tabs more than one UIBB is displayed.

We introduced an AppCC in order to do global checks before the events are processed in feeder classes. Is it possible within AppCC to identify all visible UIBBs and assign messages to the correct UI fields even if more than one UIBB is visible? How can we do that?

Right now we think about to store all messages in an attribute of a shared data object, and each feeder class processes the messages. I'd like to know if there is even a better solution available?

Regards,

Mathias

    Hi,

please check the class cl_fpm_oif or cl_fpm_gaf , you could find some methods (get_current_state/get_uibb_keys) which might helps you in your question.

While reporting your message mention the UI field element to the element parameter. you can match your message to the particular UI element in any visible UIBB.

    Thanks

      Hi,

I suggest you to try to use the "wd_this" as component and use the field element name to map.

As we give form_uibb component name, view, and configuration to oif/gaf component configuration, i suppose the form uibb will be considered as a normal view in the oif/gaf component. please try this, you may get the solution.

      thanks
