Administrator for "Create Travel expense Report"

Hello Everyone,

I would like to know if there is any ESS "Role" that is provided by SAP which allows an administrator to "Create Travel Expense Report" for employees who doesn't have access to computers. If there isn't anything provided by SAP, what is the best option.

I would appreciate your help.

Traveler SAP_FI_TV_TRAVELER

Travel assistant SAP_FI_TV_TRAVEL_ASSISTANT

Travel administrator SAP_FI_TV_ADMINISTRATOR

Approving manager SAP_FI_TV_MANAGER_GENERIC

Payer of trip advances SAP_FI_TV_ADVANCE_PAYER

Travel manager SAP_FI_TV_TRAVEL_MANAGER

Could you just explain me the activities that can carried out by using each role that you have mentioned in your post. I really appreciate your help. Because, my requirement is "A role that allows a person to create travel expense report for specific people who doesn't have access to Computers".

Did you ever find a resolution to your question? I also have a need for what you are asking. I have administrative assistants who need to do expense reports for their bosses, but we don't want the assistants logging in using their bosses user id.

I am really sorry, I have been waiting for a proper solution for this scenario. But none of the gurus in SDN are giving reply to this issue. I dont know why? But, if I get any progress I will let you know.

Gopal,

I think I found what we need. As Pravin suggested, one of the roles needs to be added to the assitants profile. I used SAP_FI_TV_TRAVEL_ASSISTANT. That person then goes to TRIP and clicks on the button "Change Personnel Number". They can then enter the number for other employees and create trips.

You'll have to generate the profile before it will function properly.
