BusinessObjects CMS Event Warning 47710

Former Member

We are currently running BO XI R2 in our production envronment on Windows Server 2003 (Standard Edition SP1)

When I view the Event Viewer it appears there are warnings being posted every minute or so on this server:

Source: BusinessObjects_cms

Category: General

EventID: 47710

Warning Description:

The object identified by 168518 was not scheduled since the dependency on the event identifed by 13177 could not be verified.

All our reports are scheduling and running as specified and I have searched all forums and am unable to find any information on this message so hopefully someone here can help me or give me some ideas on how to troubleshoot further.

Run the Admin Launchpad, and select query builder from the left hand side, run the following query

select * from ci_infoobjects where si_id=168518

also try

select * from ci_systemobjects where si_id=168518

In the results you should see (or you can change the query from * to si_name) to see the object the error is based off of. I'm not sure what would be causing it so trying to gather more info.

Thanks Tim,

This solved the problem, looks like a very old report that was set to run daily was stuck in a loop - even though I was unable to see any 'Running' or 'Failed' instanced I was able to delete the Recurring Instance and am now not getting any more of these warnings - which is very cool!!!

Cheers

Hi Tim,

How you doin! Nice to talk to you at the GBN in Dallas.

We had the same issue just this week and I found this blog.

We followed the same steps, per your suggestion above, to resolve the problem. It works like magic, after deleting those recurring schedules with object dependencies, the Event Viewer stopped recording those warning messages.

Great resource!

As always, thanks for your contribution to this forum.
