CVI Mapping between customer master and business partner for VAT Reg No.

Hi all,

I have VAT Reg No. field in kna1(STCEG) ,but the same is not available in MDG data model.So i have added field zzstceg in BP_CUSGEN in data model and extended mapping for the same entity.And have implemented BADI CVI_CUSTOM_MAPPER.

But on activation of cr,the value for VAT Reg No. clears and i couldn't find this field in BUT000.I checked log for cr number and found below warning.

"Field STCEG from structure CUSTOMER-CENTRAL_DATA-CENTRAL-DATA is provided by the business partner.

Message no. CVI_EI001"

Can anyone help me to sort this out.

I did assign it under Tax Numbers UI but yet it gives message saying "field STCEG from structure CUSTOMER-CENTRAL_DATA-CENTRAL-DATA is provided by the business partner."

Message no. CVI_EI001".

And ERP Customer doesn't get created.

Hi shruthi,

If you have enhanced handler class or std struture with your custom field . Just remove all settings and maintain VAT details in the Tax number uibb section.

VAT registeration number can be assigned under Tax numbers UIBB.
