Hi experts,
I'm trying to perform FM retraction from BW as described here:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/e0/d8fc3f37c2e369e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
I have set up field assignments through the appropriate SPRO task for my query for the following fields: BUDTYPE, BW_BUDCAT, CMMT_ITEM, FISC_YEAR, FM_AREA, FUNDS_CTR, MEASURE, VERSION. I'm not using any derivation strategy.
When I go to transaction FMCYCOPI_BW, I select my source system, the source query and all the relevant parameters and execute the report. I get the error "Query I_YORC_ADPF/YORC_ADPF_1 Contains No Data" - message FM_BP_BWRET001. If I run the query in BW I get a few test records which I was expecting would be retracted to ECC. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help.
Hi Pedro,
How did you solve this problem?

It all had to do with the field mappings in the ERP side. I'm not sure exactly what I changed to make it work since I was trying a little blindly but my approach was to try to manually post an FM budget document and see what fields were mandatory. For those fields I either made a mapping to a BW query characteristic or to a constant value. Eventually it started working.
No ideas people? I'd be happy with somewhere where I could get better documentation for this retraction.
Is there any other way to test the query remotely through ECC, without relying on just running the query in BI?
