E-Filing GB ssl certificate

Hi guys,

I have to setup E-Filing GB in XI. According to the GenericXISetupGuide I have to setup the RFC-destination with an active SSL Client Certificate. Do I have to create this certificate in XI with STRUST or do I have to download a certificate file from the british government homepage and where do I find this file???

Best regards

Thomas

Maybe you explain, what an E-Filing GB is?

If you implement a connection between internal systems, you can use self-signed certificates, but for a B2B scenario you need an official certificate from a trust center. (for example VeriSign).

Does that help?

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

thx for your reply.

E-Filing is an application which handle tax data of british employees! These data will be sent to the british tax office. You can compare it with the german ELSTER-data for the Finanzamt

Meanwhile I've received a document from SAP which explain how to create the certificate with Internet Explorer!

If you like I will send you the document?

Best regards
