posting date error

hi Gurus,

While trying to make GR for stock transport order with posting date as yesterday's date(previous month), the error "MARC-VMTRA exceeded by 42 EA : 1159383 6470 1430"

(1159383 is the material no, 6470 is plant, 1430 is storage location)

VMTRA- is field "Stock in transit for previous period".

Check whether you have enough stock meeting the quantity mentioned in GR for that material and plant and storage location.

Because yesterday is in previous period.

Pl check PGI quantity I think qty short by 42 Nos,check Stock in transit qty --->MB5T
