How to copy smartform into different languages?

Hi All,

Can anybody tell me is it possible to copy the smartform into different languages? If possible then How to do it?

Hi Mrunal Mhaskar,

Steps to translate SmartForms is:

1. Go to Transaction SE63

2. Menu: R/3 Enterprise -> Other Long Texts

3. In Object Type Selection:

FS Forms and Styles -> SSF Sap Smart Fom

4. Put the name of Smartform in Object Name and change the language Source and Target (by match code).

yes it is possible to copy smart forms in nay language wch u want.

go t-code : SMART FORMS

go : FORM ATTRIBUTES in that go in GENRAL ATTRIBUTES tab

LANGUAGE ATTRIBUTES .

there is one selection button is there : 'IN TO SELECTED LANGUAGE' select that one and

click on that side ARROW .

U FOUND SO MANY LANGUAGE .select which language u want and check it .

Hi,

Another flexible way is to use the option "Do Not translate " in the General Attributes of the Form Attributes .

Then maintain all the standard texts used in the form in different languages and used in the form with &CONTROL_PARAMETERS-LANGU&.

convert the smartform into particular language using se63 Tcode.

pass the control_parameters-language option from driver program to smartform as the another language.

the smartform will be converted to that particular language.

Hi,

After translating the form in se63, to see the form in other language:

While executing the function module of the smartform, in export parameters we have an option 'control-parameters', in that we have a field 'language', there pass the language which u want to see(here FR), then it opens the form in that peticular language.

Hi

The smartforms is an abap object, so like a program and not like a sapscript.

U should log-in in French if you want to see the text element of smartform in French by trx SMARTFORM.
