IBP Control Tower value KF not calculating on day level

Hi

We are building a IBP Supply Chain Control Tower demo. I copied the Unified Planning Area preloaded with the sample data. I uploaded the relevant master data and key figures in the new PA. The problem we are facing is that the value keyfigures are not calculating. For example Total Production Value. Values are loaded in Unit Cost and Production Receipts. The currency and UOM conversion calculations are working perfectly, i checked that on other figures.
I created a new Key Figure to calculate Total Production Value by chenging the Base Planning Level from Daily to Weekly (thus removing the disaggregation to Daily on the PRODUCTION key figure) that worked. I am inclined to think that there might be a problem with the aggregation and disaggregation to Daily level.

When looking at the Graph view I noticed INPUTKFDAY@DAYPRODLOC is being used in the PRODUCTION@DAYPRODLOC key figure. There is no data loaded for this spesific Key FIgure in the Unified Planning Area.

Am i missing a specific Key figure that needs to be loaded for all the daily calculations to work? My gut feel is INPUTKFDAY but I am unsure what data to populate it with.

Thank you

Hello Carla,

INPUTKFDAY@DAYPRODLOC may have been used in key figure input to make the key figure available at Day level.

It is not necessary to upload value for INPUTKF but combination at DAYPRODLOC should be uploaded and key figure should be initialized at daily time buckets even with NULL values. You can use CREATE_TIMEPERIODS to initialize this key figure (See Copy operator).

Once done, the key figures using INPUTKFDAY in their inputs can be seen at Day level.

Thanks,

Rohit

Thank you very much Rohit. I manually loaded blanks in a Master Data workbook like you suggested. It is working perfectly now. Thank you.
