Eclipse neon - Logon to system failed - SAPUI5 ABAP Repository - ABAP Team provider

Hello All,

I have installed Eclipse neon and I have installed all required add-ons for ABAP as well as SAPUI5 on the same.

I have created a sample UI5 project and when I try to share the project, it is giving following error.

Logon to system XXX failed (hostname 'XXX.xxx-xx.xx' unknown).

I have configured profile parameter gw/alternative_hostnames with host name XXX.xxx-xx.xx. But still I am getting the same error.

I have also enabled trace and it is giving following error details:

I have also maintained host name in /etc/hosts.

Could someone please help here if possible.

Note: SNC and single sign-on is not enabled.

It seems to be issue with firewall :(. Solving issue internally with basis team.

after the configuration, did u restart your eclipse?

Hi bhavin,

Looksvlike you are in network external to the network where your SAP system resides. Are you using VPN or something
