Hello Guru's,
I have a peculiar situation. There are about 100+ scenarios out of which just one scenario has a communication channel scheduled (uses availability planning to be opened monthly once for few hours) other channels are always active. This scenario was recently made available in Production.
After this scenario went live, whenever a new communication channel is taken live, it is by default assigned to the only schedule available in the system! (schedule of the channel mentioned in above paragraph) and we had to manually remove the newly moved communication channels from the schedule list every time so that they can function normally !!
Has some one here faced similar issues ?
Thoughts ? Ideas ? Any support in this regard is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sam

Hello Chan,
Thanks for the response.
Initially when the channel with a schedule was taken to Production, I have carried out this activity as you have suggested. How ever, the problem comes later when a different channel that doesn't need the schedule is freshly transported in to production. This new channel, is assigned with the existing schedule automatically. Sadly, we are still facing the issue when ever a new channel is moved to production & we have to manually remove that channel from the schedule list.
Thoughts ?
Regards
Sam
Hi, Sam
I don't know if this is relevant. But for our practice, we don't use transport to transfer any ID (integration directory) to production environment. Instead, we directly configure the same on production. Channels Creation on production environment using transport causing lots of side effects.
Could you try directly create communication channels on production environment to see that will prevent the problem or not?
