Process order - external service purchase order for operation

Dear experts,

we have requirement from client, if any external service purchase order is open then should not allow confirmation or next operation (if milestone confirmation assigned)

i.e Next operation should not be able to start without GR notification on purchase order.

Is there any standard way to control or any user exit / BADI.

You can use BAdI workorder_confirm to add a custom check.
