Hi all,

I have copied a Z program ( belongs to $tmp ) to another Zprogram (belongs to Z package). While copying it asked for transport request. I have selected to overwrite source code, text elements, variants ,documents and it was overwritten everything to the target program . After copying, I checked se01 and it shows only program name is i that particular transport request and it doesn't show other objects like text elements, variants etc.... Will it move correctly ? Any one can help ?

thanks and regards

Jijo

Hi,

When you copy the program it should show all the elements in Transport organizer. Go to SE 80 and try to activate your program from there and then check if it got activated fully.

Normally it will show only the program names, i hope everything will work properly, no issues in transport.

Thanks

Hi,

100% it will work. text-elements etc will not be listed in object list of transport requests.

Hi,

look at your transport request:

R3TR (PROG) means the whole object (programm) with all its dependendent objects.

LIMU (REPS, REPT) means only a part (report source).

So if you change i.e. text elements only an entry LIMU, REPT will occcur...

Kind regards,
