Set deletion flag for multiple suppliers

For the purpose of archiving supplier master data I want to set deletion flag for all suppliers that haven't had any action in the last 2 years. Is there a standard report/program to make this selection, so that I can use this selection to archive master data with SARA and object FI_ACCPAYB and the 'Consider Deletion Ind.' option.

No there is not such a report, and it would actually not be sufficient for your target of archiving.

You can only archive what has 0 usage. You have to archive purchase orders, RFQs, outline agreements, info records, source lists prior to archive a vendor. Just looking at the last 2 years may help you to set deletion indicators but not really much further for archiving.

Not to forget that there might be vendor masters which will never have a business volume but they are needed as partner for other vendors.

So you need to come up with an own logic based on your design an usage of vendors and have an ABAPer develop a report for you.

If there is no archiving project in your company which does already archive of documents and other master data then you won't get to this target soon.

Hello Jurgen,

We have already Archiving for other data in place, just not for master data because it wasn't important for gaining space.

And we can Always make our own ABAP, but i would like to know if anyone has (or had) the same question and solved it.
