Report during SM04

When doing SM04, you get a in the last column the "Megabytes". An user was doing a small report and it showed 520. This sounds very inpossible to me. Should this not be "kilobytes" and not "Megabytes"? or is this correct. If correct, why so much data?

Hi Jaco,

Size of memory is in Megabytes only. The value is sum of all the user's external sessions and contains the memory types.

Select the user choose "Goto -> Memory" to get details of the memory consumption for the selected user(s).

Then from this memory list choose Goto -> Memory List (Session Details), to get details of the memory consumption for each external session.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Raghavendra.

Hi Raghavendra

Thanx for your prompt response. Would this "value" be large if a timeout on the transaction occured? The report showed 520M within a few minutes.

Hi Jaco,

I think there is some process running behind. usually this should not be of this size. You can check the process in the process overview (sm50) if any running behind.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Raghavendra.
