Issue with continue of planned orders during holiday days

Hello colleagues,

Our team currently working with APO PPDS implementation.

We got an issue using the next transaction /SAPAPO/CDPS0 -

Detailed Scheduling Planning Board : in case of existing unworked time between shift works, system create order at the end of work shift but this order can’t be finished cause of production duration: we don’t have enough time to finish it before holidays. And system keep this unfinished order during holidays time and continue production it in the next work shift to finish it after holiday. cusersi345453desktopissue-with-orders-cause-of-hol.png

To show this case look at the attachment “issue with orders cause of holidays”. At this picture you can see that we have order that should continue during 12 hours, it starts on 30.04.18, and production continues only on 2.05.2018. But in our business case it should not start before holiday if we don’t have time to finish this order. It should start only after holiday, without any stop of production process.

Please, give us some advises how we can solve this issue to make our orders without stop production cause of holidays?

Ivan,

I know your issue might have been solved already but this may help others with similar issue.

In such case, you can use max breaktime functionality in the PDS. By setting this value, system wont schedule orders where an activity has a non working time greater than the max breaktime set in the PDS.
