Hai Experts,

Please clarify me, What is the function of the following in Customer Master (in XD01 in Sales Data Segment )

1.Nielson`s id

2.Partner Schema

Answer 1.

Thor Person is a supervisor in a factory. He is responsible for entering and maintaining time and labor data for the employees assigned to him. His group contains 20 employees.

Every morning, Thor person accesses the Time Manager's Workplace to enter employeesu2019 documents and sickness notifications in the SAP System.

When d person accesses the Time Manager's Workplace, the system automatically displays a list of all the employees who are assigned to him. The system automatically displays the Multi-Day View, since this is the view Thor Nielsen uses most often. The Multi-Day View displays one employeeu2019s time data for the current week and the following week. All this is done with the ID....

Partner Schema :

As part of its business activities, a company has a great deal of contact with natural and legal persons, that work in relation to each other and fulfil different functions.

A customer orders goods from a company. In order to ensure that the goods arrive safely, a forwarding agent may be commissioned with the delivery. A sales employee processes the business transactions in the company.

The component Partner Determination in Sales and Distribution enables you to display the partners involved in the business transaction, their functions and their business relationships in the SAP System. When creating or processing sales documents, the system can determine the partners automatically.

Features:

The function that a partner (natural or legal person) fulfils in a business process is shown in the SAP System as a partner function.

The component offers various partner functions that are significant for sales and distribution processing. There are also special partner functions for sales support available. If required, you can define new partner functions in Customizing.

You can use partner procedures to assign a group of partner functions in Customizing to each transaction (e.g. billing document).

You can maintain partner relationships in the customer master and in the sales and distribution documents. As a rule there are already partner relationships in the customer master record. When creating a sales document these are automatically created in the document header.

You can change the proposed partner functions in the sales document if this is permitted in Customizing.

In the sales documents, you can define partners at item level as well as header level, if this is allowed in Customizing.

with your explanation, I have understood that Partner Schema is a set of Partner Functions (involved in the sales process of a particular customer)

please clarify me, how VOPA (partner determination) infuences Partner schema

i can tell you abt MM partner determination, if want to know abt SD then post the thread in SD forums...

For MM :

Go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Partner Determination > Partner Settings in Purchasing Documents > Define Partner Schemas > Here Define Partner Schema (For e.g. 0002 - Standard PO) and also minatin Partner Functions (same as of Vendor Partner Schema).

SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Partner Determination > Partner Settings in Purchasing Documents > Assign Partner Schemas to Document Types > Assign Partner Schemas PO DocTypes

For VSR;

SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Partner Determination > Define Partner Schemas > Here Define Partner Schemas for VSR (For e.g. L2 - Vendor sub-range)

SPRO > MM > Purchasing > Partner Determination > Define Partner Schemas > Assign Partner Schemas to Account Groups > Here assign VSR Partner Schema to Vendor A/c Group
